  Liquidation sale of RBC assets

  got this very interesting email last night and i thought i'd share it.. this is from the local rbc.. "in harmony with our new ldc form we have been asked by the branch to liquidate all current assets of used tools and materials once owned by the rbc.

  you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.

  if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.

  If they're just going to emulate Jimmy Swaggart and the like (e.g.: JW Broadcasting), why do they need such a massive compound in Warwick?

  they're obviously getting rid of the rags, drastically reducing printing of books in general, eliminating special pioneers, etc., etc.. ... what could they possibly need a 1.6 million square feet compound for (not including outside space) in the middle of nowhere?.

  just to put things into perspective, 1.6 million square feet is equal to the square footage of roughly twelve (12) costco warehouse clubs.

  It just seems so pointless the Borg building this huge compound in Warwick if they really do believe the big 'A' right around the ''corner''.

  You would think they would hold off until after the big ''A'' to build such a compound. If they really believed what they preach about.

  Cliff Notes on Construction Halt/Bethel Layoffs

  i don't follow the board nearly as closely as i did years ago and i've only seen scattered and seemingly contradictory threads on construction delays and bethel layoffs.. anyone care to briefly summarize the latest for those of us who haven't closely followed the various threads?

  Apparently the elders, right now in the U.S. and U.K., are asked to destroy any personal notes from JC hearings. I believe it is to limit litigation. That is what I have to suspect, but not 100% sure, may just be a rumour. However, if true very disturbing. Such elder who follow such direction, you would have to wonder if they even have a conscience.

  What is even more disturbing is the vast rank and file would have no idea whatsoever at all about what their local elders are doing. The ones who they apparently trust and confide in!!! Despicable.

  As I mentioned one time before. The Borg and the rank and file considers appearances to be everything pretty much. Should the Borg go the way of broadcasting everything, fading out of the Borg should become way easier. Nobody really to judge you due to your lack of appearance.

  The Borg will be doing the faders a big favour. Waayyyyy easier to slip away because there are no elders or henchmen to judge you due to your lack of appearance.

  All this money wrangling must have garnered some attention. There are rumours, albeit rumours about some organizations looking into the Borg and the money handling in the last year or year and half or so.

  Just have to throw this out there.

  In the movie Erin Brokovich, when Julia Roberts(Erin Brokovich) is starting her research on the **chromium** which is contaminating the town water supply. Erin is asking people around the town, faculties about the **chromium**.

  Someone speaks up and gives her advice **I would not advertise what I was looking for. Evidence tends to disappear when people can smell trouble**. Something along those lines.

  Similar things seem to be happening.

  Yeah, they may have got lucky with 1914.

  Another date in history you could throw out there is September 11,2001. Just increased paranoia with security issues and heightened increase of terrorists.

  That is of course, if Sept. 11 was actually caused by terrorists.
